It is Mother’s Day on Craft 101 with Thelma

CHOC-CHIP COOKIES

2 Cups Plain flour

1 Cup Brown sugar

1 tsp Baking powder

A pinch of salt

½ – 1 Cup (100-200g) Chocolate chips

Add: 1 Cup Melted butter

1 tsp Vanilla essence

1 Egg

Preheat oven to 160°C. Beat melted butter, egg & vanilla essence in large mixer bowl intil blended. Add cookie mix, mix well, breaking up any clumps. On a greased baking sheet, take dough, roll into ball then flatten a little. (keep them on the small side as they spread out during baking)

Bake for 10-20min or when edges are a bit golden brown. The bigger the cookie, the longer they’ll take to cook. Let cool for 2min, remove to wire rack to cool completely.

ENJOY with milk!! (or tea)

2 Koppies Meel

1 Koppie Bruin suiker

1 tl Bak poeier

‘n Knippie sout

½ – 1 Koppie (100-200g) ’Chocolate chips’

Voeg by: 1 Koppie Gesmelte botter

1 tl Vanilla essence

1 Eier

Voorverhit oond tot 160°C. Klop gesmelte botter, eier & vanilla essence in groot meng bak totdat dit gemeng is. Voeg koekie mengsel by, meng goed, maak seker daar is geen klonte. Op ‘n gesmeerde bakplaat, vat deeg, rol in balletjies en druk effens plat. (Hou hul aan die klein kant omdat hul versprei tydens bak)

Bak vir 10-20min of wanneer kante effens goudbruin is. Hoe groter die koekie, hoe langer sal hulle neem om te bak. Laat afkoel vir 2min, plaas dan op draadrak om heeltemal af te koel
