Young Entrepreneurs teaches children vital Entrepreneurial, Financial Literacy, Employability and Workplace readiness skills, and helps them start and grow their own micro-enterprises in a fun and experiential way.
Young Entrepreneurs programmes are designed to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and financial literacy to spark the entrepreneurial spirit/mindset in young people. We inspire the young to live their dreams. According to the most well-known Investor in today’s world, Warren Buffet, the number one (1) skill required to make your first million is to have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsible money management is an important life skill – and one that should be taught to kids. The earlier kids are taught, the greater the likelihood of their financial success throughout life.
The financial literacy holiday programme is filled with interesting and fun activities; video clips, board games and outdoor games, as well as the make of Christmas themed arts and crafts to take home on a daily basis. The children will learn all about the flow of money (notes and coins), what banks do, difference between needs and wants, understanding a budget, the importance of saving money, the balance between spending and saving, the significance of sharing, to name but a few topics.
