Description
LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
Preparing your teen for life after high school is one of the most important tasks you’ll have as a parent. It is an uncertain time, but with a structured approach helping them to move into adulthood can be rewarding.
The Licence to Lead (L2L) programme, which involves structured workshops, will equip your teen with 13 attributes that are essential for personal growth and promote, amongst other, self-leadership, self- awareness, character development and help to craft a vision for his/her life. The programme will allow your teen to confidently make an informed choice of what to do after high school and have the tools to take ownership of whatever path they choose.
Students are taken out of their comfort zones, pushed to expand their boundaries, get to know themselves better, grow, learn and most importantly have fun. At the same time, kids are exposed to their interested field of work through holiday internships, job shadowing, and industry-specific expert mentoring.
Learners build a portfolio of evidence (POE) of how they are engaging with the attributes through feedback from mentors and supervisors. Learners keep this and it serves as a reference when applying for a job or study course.
